I'm a foodservice director for a large healthcare company. Recieved a package one day that didn't come from one of my approved vendors, along with a bill for over $500. Notified the company that I did not want the product, they claimed they needed a 25% restocking fee to take it back. Claimed they had a recording of us ordering it (and not, you know, a PO like any reasonable business would do) which cut off. At one point I ended up talking to one woman claiming to be two different women and getting her own name confused the second time. ("No, I'm not Carol, I'm Diane! Silly me!") I refuse to pay and sent it back at my own expense. First they claimed that wasn't good enough, that I still had to pay the restocking fee. Then, they said the warehouse wouldn't know what to do with the product. Next, they said they would ship it back to me and charge me twice. After that, claimed to have never recieved it. Then we're back to restocking fees. Every person I've spoke with has been rude, threatening, and vile. Now I'm being threatened with legal action, which I welcome.

As a former employee (as of 11/18/14), I feel truly sorry for the victims who were duped into buying the garbage that the owner, Dennis J. Saccarato was peddling. I, being a former collector for the company have witnessed firsthand, the con-job that Dennis and his people are doing. From me to whoever that I contacted, I truly apologize. That being said, who runs a business were as they bounce employee paychecks, date paychecks for that Friday only to find out that they cannot be cashed until the following week because the funds aren’t available?. Not only were the victims duped, I was as well, given that the people that work there are on the lowest rung of the ladder (ex-cons, drug addicts, etc.) and that have less intelligence than a box of rocks. In retrospect, as a college educated man, I am truly ashamed to have worked for such a criminal and dubious organization called Horizon Products/Star West labs.
