I am a single mom. Its Christmas time, and after being continually harassed by Household Finance Corporation, they have won. They took everything out of my checking, which was to pay my electric bill.
Have Garnished my paycheck both at the school where i work and where I am a dispatcher. Like a fool, I have supplied them with everything they now know about me to try and coroporate with them. I dont know who they are or where they came from, but I am a honest person just trying to survive and they have stripped me of everything that I had and theres nothing I can do.
I dont know if anyone will read this, but if anyone does, I just hope you were able to escape this from happening to you. I will face Thursday, the day after Christmas with no electricity and no presents to give my son on Christmas Day.
But, I will survive but only because I have God by my side.

Class Action is pending in California

I am a single mom too and household Beneficial is after my landlord for a loan they said could never be paid. My Christmas was not pleasant for
fear of losing my home that I rented before the loan was taken out in 1999. This may help to know that many people in California have filed a
punative damage claim. Also on Dec.6th 2003 in Washington State 72Million dollars was given back to comsumers that lost their homes through
foreclosure and delinquent payments.
The website : www.hblsettlement.com
The attorney generals offices in 50 States Nationwide just clipped Household finance to the tune of 484Million in restitution payments Oct 14th 2003 I worry that our troops wives will be at the mercy of these preditors to fight for our freedom only to lose their homes when they come home from the war. The congressman here in Oregon is fighting to try to help them. Hang in there There is always Hope in the world.

Contact a lawyer about filing Chapter 7. Will generally run you about $900 split into payments over 90 days.
Is changing jobs an option?
Good luck.
