I needed to buy a new computer. I went specifically to Best Buy, because I heard they had a no payments, no interest program. That way, I figured I could wait until I got my tax return next spring to pay it in full, not have to mess with it now, and not have to pay any interest.

When I went and looked at the computers, I asked the salesman about this program. He said, yes, that is true. no payments, no interest until 2003. I asked him what I needed to do to do this. He said fill out a credit app and have them run it through. When I got approved, I asked the man who I dealt with when checking out, if that promo was used in my purchase. He told me yes, I wouldn't have any payments or any interest until 2003.

But then what happens? A month or so later, I get my first bill. No interest, but I do have to make monthly payments. I called the Westfield Best Buy, and HRS USA themselves, neither of which claim to have a no interest, no payments program. I thought it was kind of funny that I didn't have any contract to sign stating the terms at the time of sale...

Not HRS's fault

You said Best Buy told you that you had no payments, thats not HRS's fault. I have a promotion with 12 mo ,no intrest with payments, the store rep told me the same thing they told you, but I read the contract before I signed it,s omething you do when you have common sense. Even though Best Buy told you that, you still should have read the contract before you signed it. I have no problems with HRS
