HughesNet Satellite Internet - HughesNet Gen4 Misrepresentation and misleading sales practices. THIS SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!! Germantown Maryland

HughesNet's sales practices have to be stopped.  Their gross misrepresentation of the product capabilities, and their misleading sales tactics are deplorable.  They sold me the standard package with the promise of video streaming and high performance, and each time I complained the solution provided was an upgrade to the next, and then next class of service.

Ultimately, when on the highest performing of all the plans, it was evident that the service was still terrible.  Their business model is flawed, shared bandwidth with other users, and the commissioning of bits/bytes of data limits your usage.  I often referred to this as "the product that provides incentives not to use it!" 

When you ultimately decide that is best to leave the service, they have the audacity to charge cancellation fees, and then start the harrassing phone calls to collect their debt.  If ever a company needed to be stopped, this is the one!
