IT WAS LIKE THEY WHIPPED MY DAUGHTER!!

FIRST INCIDENT - I was Out of town... over drafted my checking by 6.00 and received $ 165.00 dollars in fees. Upon return and face to face communication they said too bad, company policy. So I moved all six accounts including 2 business accounts. BUT I FORGOT TO MOVE MY HIGH SCHOOL DAUGHTERS ACCOUNT. Well, we shall see!

SECOND INCIDENT - 4/3/09 My daughter overdrafts her account by 1.00 with a movie from red box - she thought she was OK in her debit card. By the time we are notified (3rd day mail) OVER $ 2 5 0 .00 IN FEES. Are you kidding me!!! Upon direct meeting with branch rep - they reduced fees to 120.00 for a lesson in life. She only makes 99.00 per week part time. This was not a lesson - THIS WAS like A WHIPPING!!! What happened to servicing a customer. It was her first overdraft!

Actually - It Was A Lesson

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 03, 2009

It was the lesson she should have learned from you when you overdrafted your account. You learned the wrong lesson from your experience; your lesson was NOT to pull money out of the bank. You deliberately overdrew the account; the amount of overdraft is irrelevant in either case. It's sort of like a daughter getting pregnant and her excuse was - well, we only did it once! Doesn't matter if you overdraw your account by a penny. You lesson should have been that (a) this cost me a lot of money to screw up, and (b) you should have kept an accurate check register.

BTW - servicing a customer is not what bank's do. They perform customer service. Servicing a customer is something different and you don't want that happening to your daughter. Please be more careful in your choice of words.
