ICON Security I paid for the full month or May, 2011, of security protection for my home in Colorado. They offered me a 25% reduction in the amount of my monthly payment through the end of my contract, which is wa Provo, Utah

ICON Security would be all over you if you did not comply with your contract with them down to the letter - especially if it meant they wouldn't get every penny from you that they could.  They offered me a 25% reduction per month left on the term of my contract if I paid them the full amount due less 25% what I owed them.

I owed them five months of payments and the payments were $39.99 per month.  With a 25% reduction it ade the cost only $29.99 per month for a total of $149.96 as my final payment that paid them the full amount less 25%. 

Then they call me because I put in my letter to them that I wanted to make sure that I was going to still be getting my home security protection as stated in my contract through the end of September, 2011.  So they got my money and what did I get, the cancellation of my home protection 5 months early and they got $149.96 out of my pocket that they did not earn.  This really makes me mad as I am sure that it would you!

So, buyer beware - ICON Security is out to get your money one way or another! They also had me sign a contract with them before the end of my contract was over with my current security system supplier, by telling me that that company had gone out of business and I found out later that they hadn't.

My suggestion to you is get a big dog to protect you home, it will cost less and you don't have any contracts to sign.
