I called to cancel my idrive backup service over a year ago and expected that to be the end of it.  they said, at the time, I would have to go on-line to cancel but that they would walk me through it.   I thought it was all done and gave it no more thought.   During this past year I've had 3 cancer surgerys, spent time in nursing homes, and convalesced at home.  After my October 2015 surgery, I was finally to the point that I could resume normal activities and started reviewing my past 2015 checking account statements.  Much to my surprise, I found a charge of $142 by idrive on my september statement.   I called their support number, to recover the fraudulent charges,  and was told that I could not since the unused account was still active and I hadn't called immediately in September.  I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told it wouldn't make any difference since that was company policy.  I then insisted that I talk to a supervisor and was told that "jennifer" was not available but that she would call me back in the next day or so.  After a week, and not yet recieving a call back, I again called C/S whereupon the agent took additional notes and said Jennifer would call or email me within 48 hours.   Within 24 hours, Irecieved an email from a "Ryan S." the body of which follows: We would be happy to cancel your account and submit the renewal charge to Billing for refund consideration.  Making changes to accounts requires account verification for security purposes. Please give our Support center a call at (866) XXX-XXXX and reference Ticket #. Please have either your password or the last four and expiration date of the card on file with you.   upon returning the call as requested, I was again given the company line that they could not refund the money, since it was no longer September.  by this time c/s was gone and they expected me to forget it.  Is there nothing anyone can do to make these guys honest?  Or at least make the legally required supervisor do her job?
