ILD Teleservices rip-off dishonest Ponte Vedra Beach Florida

About 2 months ago,a man called and said he wanted to verify my company name, address, and phone number for a free trial listing on the internet yellow pages.

Today when I got my company phone bill I noticed that it had an extra charge of 33.10 (including taxes)from Liberty Online Services billed from ILD Teleservices. I called the ILD toll free number for an explanation. The person on the phone said I authorized the charges. I denied that I authorized any charges as I did not recognize either Liberty Online Services or ILD Teleservices and I had no services from them. I was told that I received a promotional package in the mail with all the info about my listing on the internet. I told her that I never received anything from them.

She then played a tape of a conversation between myself and a telemarketer saying that I authorized the charges. You can here my voice saying "yes" but the tape has apparently "been fixed" to make it say what they want it to say. They apparently used my "yes" to my name and address and inserted the charges in front of that "yes" to make it appear that I authorized the charges.

I asked for a street address of ILD and was refused. She would only give a PO Box in Miami FL. I demanded that she cancel any services and remove the charges. She refused to remove the charges but claimed she would credit 22.00 of the 33.10 for 1 of 2 months I was charged. She gave a confirmation number for cancellation.
