Illustrious Perks illustriousperks.com Submitted a fraudulent check to my bank Beaverton, Oregon

I am not sure exactly what kind of agency or business this is, but this company debited 48.88 out of my checking account unauthorized! I checked my account and it showed a "check" that I did not recognize, and I was completely shocked to see that whoever this company was they actually produced a check on their own stationary, made it out to themselves, and "signed" my name! Fortunately for me, the signature did not even remotely resemble my other checks (it looked like my 4 year old signed it) and my bank immediately placed a check fraud report to try and get my money back. 

I conducted some research on the company, and the first thing I noticed was that the check was processed through first bank of delaware, but when I called them they stated that they have not received any money from my bank account, and that they have many companies where they process the payments, but the money goes to the business. The agent informed me that sometimes "businesses" utilize third party banks to process payments in order to make it difficult for a consumer to trace the transaction.

This has been an utter inconvenience to me, being as though I am not rich, and 48.88 on the first of the month was supposed to go towards my rent, and instead was stolen from me. Because of this transaction I have to wait several days for my bank to change my account numbers, and I have no access to my money! I checked this company's website that was listed on my check, and it is just a webpage with no services offered, nor does it explain who they are or what they do. I am quite convinced that this is just some scammer sitting home and funneling money into his own pockets!
