Imperial Benefits Ripoff! Fraudulent telemarketing scam. Champlain New York

I too have been have been swindled out of $279. And I'm not stupid. Stupid is having a stranger call and asking for money, and I would just hand over my bank account number - no questions asked. Well none of us has done that. We were mislead to believe we would get a credit card with a three thousand dollar limit, (I at least got them to give me a 9% interest rate). My story is nearly exactly the same as everyone else. They withdrew cash on 12/4/03, received packet on 12/18/03, and no card by 2/4/04. Spoke to the same people Jessie, Peter, and have been told to call later and speak to Benny Stigolis on Friday. Whatever.

I did the ACH with my bank right on the 60th day. We'll see where that leads. I registered and submitted my story to BigClassAction.com and urged them to look this site up and see all the reports of the good people who were victimized. Please do the same if this has happened to you.

I really feel if enough of our voices are shouting, we will be heard. After all, that is the American way! Let's start an e-mail campaign to everyone who is associated, lives next door to, or politically represents this company! Complain to the Fed. Trade Commission, and the Better Bus. Bureau. If they get enough emails and phone calls, someone is bound to get noticed. Call the companies on the fliers that was in the "packet" and inform them that their good name has been involved in a fruadulent scam deal.
