Imperial Majesty Cruise Vacations Ramada Got our money back from these scammers. Fort Lauderdale Florida

If you are on this page you have either signed up for a vacation and are now trying to get your money back or you are searching out this company before you fall to their lies.

My husband and I bought a cruise vacation in January last year. I attempted to book the vacation back in Feb and March but was told that I had to wait till August. Tried in August and became very angry as we could not book the vacation or get our money back.

We were told that the time frame for money back had passed so... so sorry. We were treated poorly, talked over on the phone etc. When the company realized we were very upset (after quite a few phone calls) the offered to book our cruise right then and there. I explained quite nicely that we did not want to go that any desire to do business with this company or go on the vacation was gone. We just wanted our money back.

I came to this web site and found someone who got their money back so I followed her trail. I began first by keeping track of all calls, whom I spoke with and what was said. I started a report describing what had transpired since January (fortunately I kept track).

We phoned our credit cards and started a dipute throught them with Imp. Majesty/Ramada (the name appears on your credit card from the charges). The credit card companies are quite familliar with Imp Majesty/Ramada.

Filed a complaint with the Florida Better Business Brureau (on line). Filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Agriulture and Consumer Services (on line). Finally found a nice employee at Imp Majesty who told me to fax a report on what had happened to Majestys Compliance Dept.

It took about a month and a bit but we got our money back on both credit cards. Imperial Majesty/Ramada has files with both the above Florida agencies. I also read the Florida Consumer statutes, and quoted it in my correstpondence with the Compliance Dept at Imperial.

Good luck to anyone who has fallen into this trap. This company is very good at what they do. Unfortuately it is not a positive for the consumer. Dont give up at getting your money back. I have made it a job of mine to now spread the word to everyone I see that this company is a scam.
