Imperial Majesty Cruise Vacations ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Ramada Ft. Lauderdale Florida
*Consumer Suggestion: Perhaps this may be helpful.
I was contacted via phone by the company, Imperial Majesty Cruise Vacations via an internet offer. They gave me a vacation offer for the price of $300 which I took up. They then sent me through mail some forms to fill in and send back to them in order to claim my vacation. When I sent the forms back, they contacted me and I extended my stay and paid $150. After that, I did not receive a word from them and after looking through sites on the internet, I found no existence of the company and I realized I have been ripped off

I have been doing some research regarding these scams, as we have been being spammed on our cell phones as of late. The company you were injured by also goes by the name of Crown Plaza Resorts, L.C. and in 2000 the A.G. in New Mexico, Patricia Madrid, won a class action against them and three other offenders. Perhaps you may do some additional investigation with these leads and get somewhere. Also, do NOT forget to file a complaint with the FTC and the American Society of Travel Agents. There is an August 2000 publication from the FTC available on their wesite regarding telemarketing travel fraud and where the consumer may complain. Their website is www.ftc.gov or you can call toll free to 1-877-FTC-HELP.
Hope this helps in your quest to get some satisfaction on these very bad people who prey on your dream for just a little relaxation.
