Contacted our home warranty company, First American, to report a dishwasher that struggled to start and would not drain. Our claim was assigned to Infinity Appliance Repair. After not hearing from them for several days, we contacted them to schedule an appointment. They did not initially answer the phone, so we left a voicemail. We heard back from them a day later and scheduled an appointment for February 20th.

Two "technicians" came to our home. Opened the dishwasher, tried to start it, then decided we needed a new motor. Said it could take up to 5 business days for the part to come in. Technician said they would call us that evening to let us know if they had the part in stock. Did not hear from them.

After 5 business days, we began calling their office to try to schedule a time to have the part installed. They did not answer their phone. The only time we were able to get in contact with them was when they warranty company called them directly. However, even the warranty company had issues getting in touch with them. After we and the warranty company left sereval voicemails and sent numerous emails, we received a text message saying that our part was in and they wanted to know if we were ready to schedule an appointment. I responded via text and didn't hear back. So an hour later I tried to call them- no answer.

Contacted the warranty company several times and they could not get ahold of them. Two days later, Infinity Appliance called and wanted to schedule a time to come install the part. (Two and a half weeks have passed at this point). We scheduled for Saturday from 11:00-2:00 and they were a no-show. Called the warranty company and luckily we have been assigned to a reputable service company.

We must now start the process all over again and I am delighted we no longer have to deal with Infinity!

The couple times I did actually speak to someone at Infinity- her name was Bianca and she was usually rude and unprofessional. She even asked me if I was mad once since we had been having the warranty company contact them. I believe this is just a two person operation however she always made it seem like they had a "scheduling department" and several "technicians" and their schedule was always being updated.

I think this company is scamming not only customers, but the warranty company as well. They have repaired nothing and made money off our fee that is due at the time of initial "Service". If you are assigned this company through a warranty company my advice would be to refuse and ask for another contractor.
