The eBay auction with Inkcessories ended on 12/29/07 and my payment cleared to Inkcessories on 1/3/08. After waiting for almost 2 weeks for my package to arrive, I wrote to Inkcessories on 1/13/08 requesting a tracking number. Inkcessories played around avoiding my question for another 4 days. Finally, I was told that my package had previously been shipped but that sometimes there are delays and they could clear it up with just a phone call to the US Post Office. This I wanted to see!

The package arrived on 1/17/08 damaged and empty. Inkcessories mailed a boxed item in a plain manila envelope which was torn open during shipping. Two things about the envelope that truly pissed me off. The postmark was 1/15/08 which was two days after I had inquired about my package and the package was not insured as I had paid for. I immediately wrote to Inkcessories and inform them of the damage and missing item.

Finally on 1/21/08 I get a note back from Inkcessories stating they are going to file a claim with the postal service for the damaged item. First off the item is not damaged but it fell out of the big hole in my envelope! Second, explain to me how you are going to file an insurance claim on an item that you failed to insure?? Maybe you have some magic potion that I dont know about but last time I checked you HAD to purchase insurance in order to file a claim. I knew then that I was in trouble with this company.

Inkcessories finally contacted me, after several emails from me, and told me that I needed to email them pictures of the damaged envelope so that they could file my claim. Sure thing there Bud, Ill get right on it. Right after I call my bank and dispute the charges and have the charges reversed. I got my money back, from my bank, and I cant wait to hear the BS excuse Inkcessories gives me as to why the post office turned their claim down.

A few hours later I received the following email from the seller;

Hello,

We do not offer insurance on any of our Ebay auctions. Since you are saying there is a damage to the package we still will submit to USPS and see what they can do since we ship thousands of item a month through them. If you can please provide some picture info so we can verify the issue.

Inkcessories.com

I asked four times why Inkcessories took my money that I paid to have the package insured and why they did not refund it immediately because they clearly do NOT insure anything?!? I am still waiting for an answer.

The best piece of advice that I can offer you about this company is run, run very fast..as far away from these people as you can.

Inkcessories.com-I was charged twice

AUTHOR: Christine - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 11, 2008

After everything I had been though with Inkcessories.com and the time involved to deal with these idiots I still had an empty envelope and no product. I decided the best thing for me to do was to dispute the charges through my bank. The item was debited directly from my account by Inkcessories. I did file a claim with my bank on 1/21/08 and filled out the necessary paperwork. I received all my monies back after a few days and I assumed everything was going to be fine. In the meantime I was searching eBay for another print head. I finally found another company that sold the print heads but at a much higher price.

Before I was able to make the purchase I received a notice from PayPal on 1/23/08 that my bank had notified PayPal that there was unauthorized usage of my PayPal account. PayPal in it's ultimate wisdom decided that they were going to limit my access to my account. So now I was not able to access the funds that were in my PayPal account. Great! How was I going to replace the print head that never arrived now?

I spent the next 4 hours either on the telephone with PayPal, my bank and eBay trying to re-gain access to MY PayPal account. Finally someone had an answer for me.

I was told by a Customer Service Representative at PayPal that Inkcessories tried to debit my checking account again when the charges were reversed by my bank when I filed a dispute claim. I then wrote to Inkcessories and was not very nice but informed them to stop it at once!

It still took me until 1/24/08 to get to the bottom of this mess. Apparently, when PayPal tried to take their money back from Inkcessories due to my having the charges reversed through my bank, there was no money in Inkcessories account. Following me so far? Hang in there as this gets even more confusing.

So, PayPal figured that they should not be out any money so PayPal debited MY PayPal account and told me tuff crap that I had to get my money back from Inkcessories. What pissed me off the most was that PayPal never even asked me what was going on and took money directly from me without even notifying me that they did it! I had to find out by myself when I went to make another purchase on eBay that my account was empty! Good thing I did not bid on the other item from the new seller or I would have not been able to pay for it and probably would have received negative feedback as well.

In the meantime, PayPal accidentally closed my claim with them and each person that I spoke to could not tell me why. I chose not to give up and I got to a Rep at PayPal that actually took the time to listen to me and review my claim. She also stated that legally PayPal could not just take money from my account. PayPal is in a contract with Inkcessories and PayPal now has to fight it out with Inkcessories to get their money back.

So now what do I have? Well, I have a ton of emails back and forth to my bank, Inkcessories and PayPal. I have an empty envelope. I have a dead printer. I have learned a lesson. I still have a big pain in my anatomy that I sit on. I cannot keep any money in my PayPal account because I cannot count on eBay to keep their grimy hands off of it when they have no legal right to touch it. I guess I can no longer buy and sell on eBay because when it comes right down to it you better keep a very close eye on everything. eBay is great but if you have a problem it still costs you additional money to dispute it and basically you are on your own!
