InstaCash Contacted me and said I owed them money when I had never borrowed money, threatened me, told me I needed an attorney to contact them , Internet

I was contacted by a person who said his name was Brandon Jackson, supposedly representing Instacash. He said I needed to contact him or have my attorney contact him right away as this situation needed to be dealt with. He wanted to know if I was on probation or parole, if I had any judgements against me.

When I asked why, I was told that I had borrowed money from this company and it was transferred electronically to my account and the bank would not honor my electronic signature/check to return the money in the sum of $900.00

I explained to them that I had never borrowed any money from Instacash and had all of my bank statements in my hand to prove it. I also told them I had contacted the state attorney general and was told to request the information about my so called loan from Mr. Jackson and that they had 5 days to supply me with that information. Of course, they said they couldn't do that as all they had was an  affadavit from the company to go by. I said send me that. No we can't do that, I was told. So,I told them do what you have to do.

I know I did nothing wrong and have proof of that, but where do these people get off harrassing me at home and at work? Where and how do they get your personal information? I was a little frightened when I first took the call, but eventually realized this was someone trying to get money from me illegally and got angry. I fully intend to file a fraud report with my state attorney general and hopefully someone else won't have to deal with this sort of crap from this company.
