insuranceleads.com Unethical and deceptive practice of getting consumer information Internet

This company provides name and phone numbers of individuals that are reportedly looking for insurance quotes from insurance agents.  They charge the agents for the information with the fact they these individuals have gone on-line searching for insurance.  We as insurance agents are held to a very high degree of ethicss and professionalism.  Unfortunately these people are not held to the same level of professionalism.  More times than not the inforomation is obtained by tricking people into giving personal information by offering free items and then reselling this information to insurance agents looking for new clients.  They tell you they will provide creidt for leds purchased and not legitimate.  Unfortunately that is not the case.  They will issure credit sometimes but not as often as they lead you to believe.  I don't mind paying for leads if they are legit.  I would definitely not do business with these individuals again and encourage insurance professionals whoh are looking for good leads to stay away from this site.
