Insurance Leads (insuranceleads.com) is a system of generating leads and distributed to agents in the area where the leads live. The problem is that if you pay $15 for a single lead, the same lead is also being sold to multiple other agents in the same area. Essentially you are buying the same lead that was also bought by however many agents are using the Insurance Leads. In other words, it's like buying a seat on an airplane and they gave the same seat to someone else and expect you both to sit there.  They sign you up with $200 worth of "free" leads and then after those run out, you have to get another $200 in leads in 90 days or you are charged $200. About 1/3-1/2 the leads are bogus or not interested and they have a credit process and are reasonably responsive to that. Although they don't approve every credit even when it's clearly bogus information. As an agent you definately don't want to get sucked into this and waste your hard earned money on this avenue. There are other lead generation companies that will give you what you pay for.
