On April 1, a guy came to my door selling ADT alarm system. His name is Felipe Ruiz. I told him we did need a home alarm but I would have to confirm with my husband. Felipe said he could only offer this deal if I gave him some basic information. He said if my husband said no, I could simply call him to cancel. When my husband came home, I showed him and he told me to cancel. I called Felipe the next day to cancel and he offered more money off the system. I talked to my husband once again but he still said no. I called him the next day and told him my husband still said no. Felipe promised all I would hae to do is call to cancel and the system would be cancelled. However, just to be safe, I mailed the cancellation letter Felipe had given me. This was all done within days of this guy coming to my door.

Last week my husband received a letter from Rosenthal Morgan and Thomas, a collection agency, going after him for this
system we did not purchase. Today I called the collection agency, spoke Brandon Davis. He said through the Privacy Policy Act, the client, Integrity Alarms, had the right to collect a debt because even though we received no product and
even though I sent a cancellation letter, they went still went after my husband. Another strange thing, he, Brandon Davis, was not allowed to give me his email address because it violated the Privacy Act Laws. And instead he could give me a
fax number to send him the cancellation letter I referenced.
