I was charged 3 times my contract amount with NO warning, it overdrew my bank account leaving me with many additional fees, the bank refused the fraudulant overage. And there was no use in contacting ICS since my account rep, that was suppose to help me had no idea where iPayment was coming up with the rediculous fees. I was lied to by ICS and by iPayment and I am just an online business trying to convert to ecommerce. This is absolutely the most devasting blow to my regrowth and company since going online in 1997. And this is progress!! And taking credit cards is suppose to help me get MORE sales, not if while I am building the commerse portion of the site I am being ripped off the the merchant services.

I received the following email from the company that I signed up with they are a reseller:

I just got in the office and received your email. I did submit the request for you to be rebilled for the $14.41 on the specified date that we discussed. I’m not sure why it wasn’t debited as it should have been. I also put in the request to have the $3.51 to be refunded back to you. That was an error and shouldn’t have been billed. Unfortunately I don’t know why you would have been billed 2 charges of $39.41 totaling $78.82. That doesn’t make since. Unfortunately it doesn’t show on my end and you would need to call merchant services to see what that is for so we can get it resolved. Their phone # is 800-554-4777 ext 2. Moving forward this should not happen on next month’s statement.

Blaming Everyone And Taking The Blame

AUTHOR: Upgradehighway - ()

POSTED: Friday, July 05, 2013

I was billed $38.52. They were suppose to bill me approx. 14.41, and that is if my $16.58 processing was 25% instead of 2.19%. No explaination other than that is what Integrated Card Services told them to bill. Although, I spoke to iPayment in June after they overcharged me in May, and they said they were sorry that they overcharged me, offering to waive fees altogether when I complained they overcharged me 4 times in June for May. I processed 0 transactions in May, yet I was billed 4 times in June, ending with them waiving all fees. But now in June, after they promised everything would be straightened out, I am billed $38.52. WHAT!! What a crazy number?? They refuse to explain themselves, supervisor said it was based on Integrated Card Services contract and fees outlined. Hmmm. I was told $7.95. Waiving fees for May and tripling fees for June is plain wrong. I would be very careful dealing with iPayment, read all other complaints. They have no guarantees for proper handling of your merchant services money, may end up loosing your business. I would have if I didn't fight back with threats and action coming here to tell everyone what they did to me personally. As it stands, I still have no idea which merchant services person is too blame, they are both finger pointing at each other, iPayment says it is Integrated Card Services, and Integrated Card Services says it is iPayment that ripped me off!! Either way I have no merchant service to process the 75000 products on my website and I intend of being very careful to find another quickly.
