IQ Derma Intelligent Beauty Offered "free sample," and instead sent full products, with invoice & lock-in shipments! Valencia California

I answered an ad that offered a free trial offer of an iQ Derma product; I needed to give them my credit card and they would charge me only $3.95 (cost of shipping). Stupidly, I did that (without checking Ripoff Report first, or I would have seen another outraged person's report). Within 14 days, a big box arrived and I was very excited to try the "free" sample. I was rather surprised that the "free sample" had arrived so quickly, as my experience in the past with samples is that they take quite a long time (3-6 wks) to arrive. I opened the box and found two large-ish boxes, one of SkinTensive Wrinkle System and one of "RestorEyes" "triple-zon eye therapy. Along with boxes was an invoice showing me that the actual retail price was $205, and that I saved $108.65 for my "30-day Free Trial." It then said that if I didn't return the product, I would be billed the "myiQ" "discounted price of $96.35 on 4.1.2008. "That's a savings of 53%" the paper said. NO IT"S NOT!!! I spent $3.95 to try the product, so $96.35 is actually a charge of 30 times what I paid.

Moreover, the paper told me, I "will freceive a fresh, 2-month supply of SkinTensive --Advanced Multi Active Wrinkle Serum and RestorEyes - Firming EYe Therapy every 60 days at your discounted price. That's only $48.17 per month to ensure that you never urn out of your favorite prodcuts or miss a day caring for your skin."

All of this for sending in $3.95 for what I thought would be a sample of the product.

I am appalled and furious! On top of all of this, you have to get an "RMA" number to return the d**n thing -- AND -- they have to receive it in-house withing 14 days of your getting the RMA number or they charge you!!!

PLEASE, someone get in touch with SHAME ON YOU and/or the Better Business Bureau. These people, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Francis being the founder, MUST BE SHUT DOWN!!!

Beware of iQ Derma!!!! Don't fall for the scheme I fell for.
