ANDREW THOMAS - Jac Automotive Ripoff $475 Dollars deposit for what was susposed to be a down payment for him fixing my car so my 2 year old and eight months old could have better transpertation. Baltimore Maryland

My wife had found Andrew Thomas info on craiglist. She decided to contact him. She called him and he had called her back to. They talked for a long time on the phone. He called everyday. He called to state we don't have anything to worried about. Him knowing our situations. My wife had already told him that this is the only car we have and our only mean of transparation for us to move around beside the metro. Knowing, too, we have two young childrens two years and younger. That I am not working as well. That she have to take taxis after certain times to get home becasue the busses stop running. My wife talked to Andrew Thomas and she grew to trust him. He told her everything she wanted to here. He also told her that he would have to have a deposit for the $475 Dollar becasue its part of company policy and he have to record a down payment so he can't put him self in trouble and too, he have to order the transmission. Andrew Thomas was schedule to come out to my resident to take a look at the car and to recieve the deposit. On 4-29-2009 Andrew Thomas called to let us know he's on his way. Andew as well called us to let us know he was out side in the parking lot. My wife at the time had made out the check to Jac Automative and not Andrew Thomas at the time. Andew Called and asked if we would like him to come to our apartment. I told him I be out. I walked to him and we introduce each other. I taught he was a hones worker. He looked as if he has just finish working on another car. We talked and he demonstated feelings in our situations. I presented the check to him and there he said. The check, he sorry he didn't told us, but the check would have to be made out to him because he is actually doing this on his own and its is true he have to order the car part. Andrew also went to our rential office to ask if its ok for him fixing our car in he parking lot. He also was in our car and looking at the damages that need fixing. Andrew Was also in our house where he met our two childrens we told him why we need the car fix very much. He met my wife, my mother-in-law and he even relates he have a son who is the same age group as my older daughter. He acted very nice and pleasant. We hadn't any other taught to not trust him. My wife told me it was ok, I don't tink we have anything to worried about. Andrew Thomas as well told us he not a fraud and we will se that we can trust him. He not like that to take some one money and ran. Andrew Thomas never came to fix our car. He had gotten the check and cashed it. We had called him and it took a little time for him to answered but he had answered and return our call and to let us know the tranmission would be in a hour and he would be able to fix the car. well it got more late and my wife had called him and he told her its' too, late and it would be dark before he finish installing the transmission. so he agree to be here at 8:00 Am in the morning the next day. We agree, but he never showed up. My wife called and he didn't answer. He finally answer and told my wife he would be here at 11:00Am because he over sleep. We said ok just show up because my wife would have to take a taxi home from work tonight. My wife work in Georgetown, DC and we live in OXONHILL, MD. There is no bus after 10:00pm for my wife to get home we really need the car. Well, Andrew never called or show up. Time passed and I told my wife maybe he probably have some type of family problem. We also taugh its becasue of the rain, why he haven't showed up. We at the same time still needed to know why he's not calling or answering his calls. Sunday passed and still no sign of Andrew Thomas. Monday Andews Thomas texted my wife and said that he had lost our information, his GPS is not working do to an event. he also said he's sorry and he also sorry for texting because he can't take calls anymore. He also agree to give us back or money or the part we asked for. Andew was to be at my resident Tuesday May 5, 2009 to return our check or money. He still haven't showed or called to say anything. His phone is still active and he had posted a new ad on craiglist yesterday. This time he's saying he's accepting credit cards. This guy need to be stop. He stole from my childrens.
