ON January 1, 2014, I sent a check to Jacquie Lawson, a company based out of Chicago, Il. They are an e-card service. The purpose of my check was to renew a membership, which allows the customer to unlimited e cards for one year. The company cashed my check but did not apply it to my membeship renewal. I asked why they cashed my check without applying to my membership and never received an answer, other than the automated email "we will respond within 24 hours." I asked for a refund, and was told that it would be possible, but takes up to 2 weeks. It has been over two weeks, and the company will provide a direct answer as to their dishonest business practice.
