A few months ago, my husband and I decided to open an on-line retail store. We posted an ad on Craigslist requesting a web site designer. We were immediately contacted by James Mariany. He quoted us a fee for the entire design and we paid him $300 using Paypal.

Well, after deadlines too numberous to mention, he has still not provided any product. We have protested the Paypal payment and they ruled in our favor, but can't produce any funds.

We have also contacted the NH attorney general and filed a report. In good faith, my husband has continued correspondence with Mariany as he continues to promise the work is almost finished. He even had the nerve to request that we remove the Paypal grievence as his friends Paypal account in now screwed up.

BEWARE this scam artist. Do Not Do Business with him unless you want to deal with stolen funds and headaches.
