Jay Adkisson is the worst attorney in Orange County. Be careful because he will steal from you. He is a collections attorney that deceitfully poses as an asset protection attorney. However, his techniques are set up to steal from his clients.

It has been well documented that when Adkisson performs collections for his clients that he will pocket ALL of the money unless his client calls him on it. He will NOT pay the money that he collects from debtors but keeps it for himself.

He repeatedly lies in court-and asked us to lie under oath. He notoriously overcharges. We had the bill reviewed-he made up charges-AND he charged us attorney rates for what a paralegal was doing!

 Keep away from this con man. Jay Adkisson is a farce and a crook.

Jay Adkosson is also known for hiring prostitutes for sex on a regular basis. He is well-known for being a raging alcoholic. When he goes out drinking he blabs on about how he screws people over overcharging them and padding his bills, charging for 10 hours when he only worked one.

Jay Adkisson is a real slime. 

Jay Adkisson initially advised me that submitting a loan modification would be a simple & painless procedure that they would perform in my behalf, and that they would deal directly with the lender and their attorneys, takes your retainer fee.  Then charges you a monthly fee off twice my monthly mortgage, and assigns you a representative to assist you with a Loan Modification for your mortgage.

I submitted countless documents over almost 2 yr period, with the expectation of a resolution. After over 6 months of outrageous payments to CAS, I spoke to a resolution specialist who had their payment dropped to approx. $2780.00 a month (which was still more than my mortgage payment).  

I would call to get a status update frequently, most times sent to an answering machine, where I’d leave a number to reach me (as asked for on the recording), and NEVER once received a follow up call. Each time I did speak to someone, I was told that the loan modification was in underwriting. Then miraculously I would receive a letter in the mail from the mortgage company’s attorney that my home was being put up for sale yet again!  

I spoke to them last month, and was informed that they see that 4 months previously the loan modification had been appoved. YAY!!!! NO ONE TOLD ME. No e-mail, no certified letter…not even carrier pigeon.

During that phone call I was informed that my “Case Worker” would be contacting the lender to see what it why, and how to get that reinstated. For I had received yet another letter notifying me of a new sale date. I was also informed that CAS would put a stop to that sale, and work with the lender to get the “approved” modification reinstated.

I was woken up this morning by a phone call from CAS “Case Worker” that advised me that he had spoken to the lender, and that the sale date would stand, and that in order to reinstate my load period, I would have to pay any fees and arrearages buy Friday the 3^rd of January, somewhere in the line of 18k. Today is the 30^th that gives me less than 5 days to crap 18k or I lose my home.  

This place is a SCAM! I spoke to a resolution specialist again today, and asked him Mr. Hollis why I had even hired them in the first place, that they had promised me resolution and fell short. He had informed me as rudely as he had before when I spoke to him, that they had provided me resolution…that they had stopped the sale of my home for almost 2 yrs. Really??? That is what you call resolution??? What an a**hole!!!!

RUN!!! And run very fast and far away from this company.  Their representatives are incompetent, rude, and lie out the wazoo, they violate their own contract and keep your money. They will NOT help you, they are only interested in padding their pocket book for as long as they can. Their resolution specialists make excuses for everything they do.
