JBC Legal Ripoff reporting false info to cb i have never been to an ames department store they have no check to prove mine nor can the bank supply me a check do not give these scum bags a dime I won't Bloomfield New Jersey

I signed up for a credit montoring service about 1 year ago. About 6 months after having the service i get an email saying changes have been posted to my report. I check it and to my surprise it was from JBC LEGAL GROUP. I found there phone number by doing a search. The lady i spoke to said I had a bad check from 1999 written to AMES dept. store. I live in Cincinnati and there hasn't been an Ames around here in years maybe 17 years whick means there was no way the check was mine. I explained this to her and she still wanted me to pay it. The amount is around 160.00. Not much but im big on principal!! I asked her to send me a copy of the check which of course they do not have. I asked for a number to reach someone at the AMES company she informed me they had went out of buisness(IMAGINE THAT). she said i could contact the bank and they could give me a copy. I called the bank and guess what NO COPY THERE EITHER!!! I will not give these people a penny. I then called back told the lady the bank could not supply a copy. I explained i wanted the negative info removed from my creit report, according to them they do not report to the CB. Another LIE. I have disputed with the CB but somehow EXPERIAN can verify the info. EQUIFAX deleted and so did TRANSUNION. Go figure. Now im stuck looking like I can't handle a checking account because of them being able to report false information!!!
