It's with utter disgust that I make this report.
I placed my order for a pendant and earring set on February 22, 2005. The money was taken from my account immediately even though the items were not shipped until March 22, 2005. I should have known they were bad news right then.

The items arrived but were misrepresented on the TV show; the quality was rather poor and it was missing a stone. I shipped them back via UPS next day (I didn't want any excuses for not refunding my money). I waited 2 weeks after receiving the UPS delivery confirmation, but no refund.

I called Jewelry Vault to ask about the refund and was transferred to Chad who supposedly is the supervisor. Chad assured me that he would process the refund and it would be credited to my account that Friday. Friday came and went, no refund.

Called JV again, transferred to Chad, who [again] told me Friday my account would be credited. Long story short it's July and I still have not received a refund. On about the eighth call to the 888 number, I was given Chad's number on the customer service line (which is 213-972-2100 ext 4134). He never answers the phone or returns phone calls when I leave messages.

This company is BAD NEWS! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, LA office, but it appears that they have about 20 open complaints filed against them already! I'm not giving up! How do they think that they can take people's hard earned money and get away with it? I've been fighting this battle for 3 months now.

Anyone who has successfully obtained a refund from Jewelry Vault, please lend some tips on how to get my money back.

Jewelry Vault - finally refunded my money

After filing this report, I filed a complaint the Jewelry Vigilence Committee (thanks Rose!) I got a call from James from Jewelry Vault last Thursday. He apologized for the slow response to my request for refund. He mentioned the report I filed on the ripoffreport.com and my complaint with the JVC. He then told me that he would process my refund including shipping charges and call me back. To my surprise, he called back with a confirmation number and more apologies. I checked my account today and low and behold, the money had been credited to my account! Thanks ripoffreport.com!

To anyone else who is owed a refund from Jewelry Vault, be persistant and Good luck.
