JK harris & Co has to produce press releases to offset all the negative publicity it receives on ripoff reports. JK harris claims that it helped out certain taxpayers to resolve their issues with the IRS and than uses them in their press release. JK Harris is so bad that they put the same client (retired truck driver) twice in the press releases on March 25.

If you take a look at the press releases, JOsh Baker enter the same information twice for this retired truck driver. By reading the press release, it seems like JK Harris did not do much for their client except blindly rip them off. The clients could have gone into the local IRS office and did this themselves saving significant money they had to pay to JK Harris. It is easy to be put into a "Currently non collectible Status" when certain financial threshold levels are met (tax debt will cause financial hardship). SO Josh, how much did you rip off Mr & Mrs Cox to do this. I had to put myself in a noncollectible status and it took me less than hour at the local IRS office. Poor MR & Mrs COx as they did not even know they were ripped off by JK Harris & Co.

SOme of the other press releases by JK Harris are by Enrolled Agents of JK Harris trying to explain tax laws to a public that is clueless about taxes. These press releases are useless. All JK Harris is doing is taking taking tax laws and tax literature and putting them into their press releases. A reader of these press releases would think that JK harris is very knowledgeable about taxes.

Seems like the complaint on ripoffreport are much more real than the advertised press releases. If we read some of the press releases by JK Harris, we can see how jK Harris claims to help their clients so much. The clients could have done it on their own instead saving thousands in professional fees.

I read a press release on Feb 1, 2008 about "jK Harris helps North Carolina woman get relief from defaulted loans". JK harris claims to got her wage garnishment stopped by proving financial hardship through a hearing with the US Dept of Education and by using the Student Loan Rehab Program. THis woman could have done this on her own and saved on ernormous professional fees that are charged by JK Harris. I had a student loan that became defaulted and I had to use the student loan rehab program myself. THe US Dept of Education offers this service to loanholders that do default on student loans. And its not 9 payments, its 12 payments to get out of the default status.

I like to research all the press releases involving JK Harris helping out its clients. THese press releases are merely written lies by Josh Baker who is in charge of the press center at JK Harris. Every month complaints are piling up here on ripoff reports and Josh is representing JK Harris by writing positive press releases on those clients that JK harris claims to help.
