J&K Interest, Kevin Liu and Jim "James" Stephens, scammed me and others into purchasing over valued property in Raleigh, NC. They worked with PCS HOMES to sell the property to us for over market value.

They claimed to get clients to rent, but never helped. I flew to Raleigh only to find out that PCS HOMES was selling the homes for 129K and I purchased it through J&K Interest for 150K.

These guys cheated me and so did the builder and appraiser.

We had no idea this was out there until today when we googled our company name.

It is true J&K Interests sold Joab a house in Raleigh NC, and that is pretty much where the truth stops, here are the FACTS of the deal Joab failed to mention:
By the way, we have HUD-1's and signed contracts to back up our story.

1. Joab and his wife actually bought TWO house through us in Raleigh NC from PCS Homes. If the deal was so bad, why did they fail to mentioned the $205,000 home they bought in the same subdivision? And if we want to get techical here, Joab did not even buy the $150k house, his wife Mellisa was the buyer. Joab was the buyer for the $205k house.

2. The $150k house mentioned in this report came with $23,930.19 worth of up grades.

3. Joab also failed to mention the $4,500 Mellisa received from PCS Homes at closing as seller paid closing costs and the $11,090.99 they got right after closing from J&K Interests as Rental Subsidy Payment for a total of $15,590.99 in cash and rebates.

4. We offer every investor we deal with the opportunity to buy the houses 2 ways: 1. at a lower price without the cash and rebates and 2. at a higher price with the cash and rebates. Joab and Mellisa chose to take the cash and rebates on BOTH of their deals. We can only wonder what they did with their monies because it was supposed to be set aside for a rainy day ie RENTAL SUBSIDY.

5. The last time we checked, which was a while back, both houses were rented with a POSITIVE CASHFLOW...just another a small detail Joab forgot to mention.

So, here is the summary of the "SCAM": Joab and Mellisa were able to purchase two homes in a great market (Raleigh NC was recently named one of the best Housing markets in the US) with ZERO down, cash back at closing and Positive Cashflow...we should all be so unlucky!!!
