I purchased an auto in Sanford, Fl. in 2008. It was totaled in an accident on Feb. 29th. The car insurance has made a payment far under what is still owed on the car.

When I submitted the extensive paperwork to JM & A Group for my GAP coverage they refused to pay the remaining balance.

When I called the office I was told that the car had been over financed and they would not cover the balance. I asked if they had not noticed this when the car was purchased and they said they don't know this until a claim is issued. When asked where in the contract it stated that a claim would not be covered, they said they didn't have a copy of the contract and that I should obtain a copy of the contract from the dealer.

This company is a total rip off! I am now stuck with making payments on a car I no longer have! Someone has to do something to stop this company from ripping people off!
