Joe Myers Toyota Lied to me and ripped me off ripoff Houston Texas

In 1998 I went to Joe Myers Toyota to purchase a new Rav4. I had always in the past purchased my vehicles because I was a traveling sales representative and put a lot of miles on a car. They told me the only way they would do the deal was for me to lease instead of purchase. I told them I did not lease because of mileage penalty.

My salesman told me that at Joe Myers Toyota as long as I brought the car back to them and leased another vehicle; there would be no mileage penalty. When I was signing the paperwork; I asked the finance manager if that was true before I signed the paperwork. He looked at my salesman to verify that information and then told me whatever my salesman told me was true so of course I signed the paperwork.

At that time I had excellent credit and my payments were $425 per month. When the lease was up I went back to trade the Rav in on a new Rav. I was told I would need $3500 which wasn't mileage penalty, but depreciation because my Rav had 76,000 miles on it. They told me the payments on a new Rav would be $600 per month. They told me that I could purchase the Rav I had at 18% interest because I had changed companies.

At that time I didn't have a choice, but to sign the paperwork so I would have a car to do my job. Two years ago, that car was totaled by a hit & run driver. Toyota Financial agreed to fix up the car because I still owed them $10,000 on the loan.

With no money to replace my car; again I had no choice but to keep the Rav4. I have been going thru some hard times and got behing with my payments. I borrowed the money and made a full payment May 9, 2006. Yesterday; they repossessed my car. If I wouldn've been lied to in the first place by Joe Myers Toyota; that car would've been paid off three years ago on a five year note at a low interest rate. I figured up what I had paid on the Rav4 and the total was $50,833.90 with a balance of $4,700 left plus late fees; which is added at the end of the loan.

This has been an eight year nightmare all because I was lied to by Joe Myers Toyota in 1998 and again in 2001.
