Sad that a "company" like this could even exist in these times. They will lie to you from the very start and use every form of trickery known to rob you out of your money. I was charged $800 more than my sister-in-law for the same exact machine only a couple days later. They DO NOT return phone calls, ever, and if you reach them they lie to you and tell you they'll call back but never do.  They are in the business to rip people off, not to care or provide quality products or services. Do the research and you will see the reports from all the people who have been taken by them all over the internet, beware! Tell them to get lost and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, you can find a Kirby vacuum cleaner somewhere else from an honest and legitamate company, K & G Distributing, also known as Kondos Company Inc and also Kirby of McHenry County (why three names?? another scam) is completely dishonest from start to finish, they should be put out of business. Had to file a report with the Illinois Attorney General, hoping to have it resolved with them, otherwise I will be resorting to an attorney. Tell everyone you know to "stay away" from them! Tell anyone who calls your phone and offers "a free cleaning of two rooms in your house" (a scam into thinking you are getting a carpet cleaning) "no!" amd that you will report them. Pass this on!

Like buying a car

Buying a Kirby or other D2D product is like buying a car.  Some people get better deals than others.

#2 UPDATE Employee

It's business

AUTHOR: TrueDWils86 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2012

I am a Dealer for the Kirby company and believe the product I sell is worth more than the price we ask for it.  It really does not cost anyone anything to own a Kirby becuse it ends up paying for itself.  If I am in a mansion selling a customer a Kirby who spends $400 a year on professional carpet cleaning services, 200 Dollars a year on new vacuums, their furniture is worth the price of 5 Kirby's, I am obviously going to sell that Kirby for maximum price.  Compared to the single working mother of 4 children who can barely pay the mortgage, but needs the cleanliness and time saving solutions the Kirby provides... I will give her a much better deal.

In the future..

AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 13, 2011

you should have your sister-inlaw help you with your financial decisions.

"I was charged $800 more than my sister-in-law for the same exact machine only a couple days later."

An appropriate translation of this would be "I agreed to pay $800 more than my sister-inlaw did..right?

No Ripoff here....you DID agree to the price.

I would suspect you signed a contract...if you did, you MAY have 3 days to get out of the purchase....but again, NO Ripoff here.
