K HOVNANIAN HOMES Rips off its contractors Red Bank, New Jersey

I have read many reports about dis-satisfied home owners and disgruntled employees being treated unfairly. I may add that they also fail to pay their contractors (trade partners) in a timely manner, hold back money and make all types of excusses for not paying them. K.Hov will make up any excuse they can in order to backcharge a contractor when something goes wrong, even after their supervisors have inspected and signed off on the work as being approved. They do this because they have so many unqualified people in management in the field and they know these people have no idea what they are doing.

 K. Hov is an old boy network with everyone trying to cover for each other and keep their jobs, to hell with the home buyer, you don't even figure in the equation. There are a few dedicated field supervisors and warranty persons who truly try to do the right thing by the homeowners but are fought by higher ups constantly.

Do you realy want to buy a home from a builder whose field people and contractors actualy building the homes are always pissed off, and don't care what happens, are always wondering when they will be axed for a cheaper contractor, who charges 50 cents less. When you give a cheaper price eventualy quality has to suffer. Do the people actualy building your house even speak english, let alone read blueprints?
