I signed up for a free trial of kazaa music downloads. Deciding to not keep the service, I canceled on line within the the time frame required. (The company later said I did not cancel quick enough.).

I used my Paypal account to make the required order completion. My Paypal account balance is usually low on purpose to protect against unauthorized charges. Apparently, this company somehow placed a charge against my account so that when the sufficient amount was available to them the transaction took place. I think that is an unethical business practice. kazaa should have contacted me, if they felt I did not cancel on time, to see if I wanted their services rather than the "lie in wait" maneuver. I requested a refund of the $19.98 but was informed I did not honor the terms of the contract so my account was closed but no refund.

My alert is to others out their to not trust on line businesses. Some are crooked.
"Buyers beware!"

They must be desperate for business or just dishonest.
