Kensington Assistance Agency ripoff Promised to send information regarding free grant money given away by the government for small fee of $300 New York City New York

I was sent a green postal card from Kensington Assistance Agency advertising a chance to get free grant money from the federal government. I simply needed to pay
$299 in advance, and forms would be sent for me to fill out and return to the agency.

If I didn't qualify for the grants, all of my money minus a $29.95 handling fee would be refunded to me.

I received the forms, filled them out and sent them back to the agency. Now almost 2 months later, I have heard nothing. I have tried to contact them and have found that they are a fraudulent company.

My biggest concern is that I gave them my social security number. I am a college student, and can't afford to have my social security number used by others.
