Keyspire, formally known as Lifetime Wealth Academy, in Cambridge, ON. I had to create an account using 'Alabama' as the website would not let me choose Ontario. Currently, the company is serving all of Canada with dreams to expand to other countries.

Sadly, Keyspire is a complete scam. I actually worked for the company and was a customer, so I am very aware of the inner-workings and how they treat customers and employees. I was one of the many people unethically fired, bullied into signing contracts without having enough time to contact a lawyer, as I was escorted off the property.

The company is built on inviting people to a free event (using a celebrity, so far using Scott McGillivray as a draw), then selling them a workshop for $1000 to learn more about investing, and then at the workshop selling a horribly expensive membership that includes some terrible software, very poor real estate 'coaching' that includes a roaster of people who have maybe bought a property or two and are NOT what you are thinking of when you think real estate investing coach (I would say maybe two coaches have some merit), invite to a couple events, some website info (all of the information of which is found on Google, and where most of it came in the first place), and a connection to a network of other real estate investors. All for just tens of thousands of dollars..

I think the company started off with okay intentions, or so it seemed, but very quickly grew into a money grabbing scheme that was all about offering as little as possible to customers and getting as many customers to sign up for the highest price. Awful and sad sales tactics are used, I can recall many very elderly people being pushed into unaffordable real estate memberships, or young naive couples taking out lines of credits they'll never pay off, to pay Keyspire and not letting people out of the program if it wasn't for them. (They only allow 10 days refund for a $15K - $25K product, and members aren't able to experience 99% of the program until they are out of the refund time.)

The tone of the company switched when Merilee Wright was hired (unemployed at the time), she swiftly began firing those she didn't like and replacing them with friends of hers. So many incredible employees who built the company were forced out because they knew too much about the early history of the company (which took part in quite a few unethical things and the entire company was actually started as a place to file all of the complains the founders Michael Sarracini and Scott McGillivray were getting) and were horribly bullied by her. One employee was off work with suicidal thoughts due to the stress at work, others getting sick to their stomach when she was around, and MANY more have quit. The company has such a high turnover rate it is laughable. She is known company wide for firing those who don't kiss her a**.  She ensures employees make the absolute minimum the industry standard would allow, while she has continued to pad her salary into the hundreds of thousands, despite her complete lack of qualifications. She only cares about sales numbers and training teams to sell more and more memberships, whether they can afford them or not. When she was hired, the staff begged the founders to reconsider due to the terrible treatment everyone was getting, however; Merilee must have information on the founders that she has been able to blackmail into getting what she wants.

There is another complaint filed on this website that I saw, and the other report is completely true. Completely! They simply write a BS response to it to try and save face.

I never though that I would be someone to leave a bad review for a company, and have never done so before. However; the way this company has treated customers and employees is so horrendous that I feel obligated to ensure potential new customers and employees have the full information.

If you speak to ANYONE who used to work for this company, you would be horrified at the story they have to tell you. Sadly, those who had to quit or were forced out, were also bullied into signing documents not allowing them to speak about the company at all. I was one of those people, so hopefully this site is true to being anonymous.

I could list countless times and stories this company has been completely unethical and ripped off customers and will do so if there is interest from people in hearing more about what has gone on. I'll also be sure to encourage other former employees to no longer be bullied and be honest in order to protect others.
