Kids Ripped off and taken advantage of by Kids.com Lynbrook New York Lynbrook New York

I feel now that Kids.com preys upon new parents who would do anything for their child. My husband and I brought my daughter to kids.com after receiving a letter from them stating that our daughter was brought to their attention.

We called and made an appointment and brought our daughter in she was then 4 months old (May 2006). We listened to Ms. Torres and she said all the right things and seemed as though she was really going to work for us. We left this meeting with out signing up because we though $595.00 was expensive.

So my husband and I talked about it and we went back and forth and people telling us that if anyone asks for money to do a port folio or modeling its a scam, but we felt they were doing a service for us. We again called and went back in August 2006 (our daughter was now 7 months). Again Ms. Torres repeated all the right things. She was telling us how beautiful and well behaved our daughter was.

We made sure we brought our daughter for her photos every 6 months to Jeffrey Studios on Long island. At each session I also had to pay a $20.00 sitting fee. I Have called the kids.com office a few times and received no call backs.

Jeffrey Studio's brought to my attention that the CEO Larry Bagwell took off without telling any of his employees and all the offices are closed in NY, NJ, Chicago.

We feel that we as new parents, we were taken advantage of and ripped off. My husband works three jobs and I am a retired NYPD Detective.
