Kirby Vacuum Product ruined by stone tile floor after I was told I could use the product on this floor. Internet

I was told by the Kirby salesperson, that I could use the vacuum on my tiled kitchen floor.  I have always used my Dyson on this floor and had never had any problems.  The Kirby scratched my tile (stone) floor really bad!  It looks horrible!  I tried x 2 to explain this to Kirby.com customer service to see if they would help pay for a new floor (since I was told incorrectly).  Their reply both times that is was the "user's improper application" and they would not be responsible for any damages.  I followed the user manual to an exact.  This was NOT the "user's error" this was the "error" of a bad product!
