I want to know what to do also. I have complained several time to the Concord, NC KIS Golf with no results. Not one of the free trips have been available and no one responds to any questions. One trip I tried to take last year I was called the day before my trip just to be told they never found me a place to stay. I have tried to use the discount travel, but none of the places I want to go have a place to stay and I can get prices cheaper myself online. I wanted the travel more than the golf, but thought it would be fun to learn. Well, the Concord store moved 1 1/2 hours away for almost a year then moved back only to close! I have not even been able to use the indoor facilities or lessons due to them not staying in one spot! Needless to say. They are not fullfilling their part of the contract. I want to participate in any class action or payout or whatever to get back anything that I can. I am so pissed right now!

Inside Info
AUTHOR: No Need - (U.S.A.)

I used to work for the KiS store in Concord, NC. I worked there for 4 months in the summer of 2007. At first, i thought the idea and concept was very appealing and should be very lucrative. I was somewhat brainwashed at the beginning but when I came to my senses everything seemed so clear. the whole company is a scam. all the owners used to work in the used car sales business. and they are all best friends. they claim to be a christian company that prays before work and has christian values, but not once did we every pray before we opened and the scam we worked was not christian in any way. in 3 months i sold memberships to maybe 5 people, and if you are one of them, i am completely sorry for misleading you. i actually believed what i was telling you.
the travel discounts are a scam, as George McGill owns teh "travel" company also. all it does is redirect you to other websites to book your travel. and you don't even need a password to get onto the site.
The golf clubs are a joke and playing with them made me even worse. luckily they let me return the clubs and i never actually paid for them. i worked at the store with someone who played golf professionally and he always commented on how crappy the clubs were. he used them one round and shot in the upper 70's, when he normally shoots in the 60's. they are that bad.
the people i worked with were nice but i believe they were deeply brainwashed to believe they were selling a good product. George McGill has that quality about it that enables him to sell things effectively and he has no conscience because he knows more than anyone that he is a fraud. i'm glad they are bankrupt. when i quit i told them that i did not have the ability to lie to people like they did and when i found out all this stuff about them i couldn't work there anymore.
and good luck with any lawsuit, that contract they made you sign has some fine print in it that basically says they are not liable for anything and cannot be sued. it really sucks. there is no 3-day rule with them because it is a "custom" product. and they BS about how long it takes to get the clubs because i worked there and it still took almost 6 weeks to get mine when they guarantee it will only take 5 days.
