Labor Ready ripoff If you'd like to hire incompetent, stoned workers, this is your company. Everett, And Bellevue Washington

I just discovered this website, so my complaint is a little late. I just read another complaint by "Noll" in Stanwood and had remembered this.

My two experiences with Labor Ready happened within the last couple of years. The first was in the restaurant industry. The restaurant I worked at in Bellevue hired many Labor Ready workers. We had hired one that I truly believe was a schizo. She was hired eventually to work full time, then fired because everyone thought she'd go postal. Another worker was either stoned everytime he came to work or was very mentally challenged (I'm pretty sure he was high).

About a year later, I was working on a construction site in Everett. A subcontractor had hired 5 Labor Ready employees to move some cabinets up three stories. As in "Noll's" experience, these people were not qualified movers AT ALL. Dinged walls, chipped cabinets, the workers were complaining about having to "work". And one was sent home after making sexually explicit comments to me. Now...I'm a girl on a construction site and have heard stuff before. But this guy was probably just released from prison or something. It really bothered me. We called to complain to the management. They just apologized and offered to send another worker.
So, just a warning to anyone that thinks of hiring Labor Ready to do cheap work. It's not worth it.
