Lamson College Surgical Program Tell me I should change my field of study? Tempe Arizona

Brilliant Idea! Unfortunatly, that decision might be made by the hospitals that don't want to hire Lamson students while I'm stuck paying off student loans with my paycheck from Costco. Regardless, I'm sure that very idea has crossed a few minds but where do you get a student loan before this one is paid off? Actually, it's that exact mentality that keeps the program substandard. Blame the student. "We teach a program that even local hospitals are refusing the free labor but if you aren't learning it's your fault" I'm sorry but that attitude is only for programs that produce techs that hospitals want.

For the amount each student is paying, Lamson needs to make changes so the hospitals are calling THEM and asking when they have another class graduating. If the instructors are as good as you say they are, they should want that too and certainly be able to come up with the ways to do it but to know that the majority of your students aren't getting the skills needed and not do anything.....and still collect a paycheck?.....thats a cop out and lazy.

This school is getting 25,000 dollars per student! Do you want to tell me they can't come up with instructors that teach ? Quit downing the students for expecting what the program promised. Quit downing the student for wanting to be taught when their in school and don't down them for wanting teachers instead of surg techs that are tired of working weekends and being on call.
