I applied for a pay day loan and was without my permission or authorization enrolled in an ID Theft program costing $31.98 a month. The $31.98 was automatically taken out of my checking account again without my permission. When I tried to contact the company the of course canceled the service but would not refund my money. The website, www.idthecs.com has no phone number or address listed but you can chat online with a customer no service person who may or may not be a real person. I did get a phone number from this person and called. Of course I was givin the run-a-round. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold and then a few minutes later hung up on. When I tried to call them back it was after their business hours so of course I got no one.
This is a total scam and I will be reporting them to every and any agency I can. I will also be e-mailing Clark Howard about this scam.

I was informed, that because I had applied for an online payday loan that gave them the right to debit my account. I informed them that I hadn't filled out one for their website and they told me that it was automatic when you filled out one application online. They refused to credit the money back to my account and informed me that I should file a police report. They said their charge was non-refundable.

I will be filling that police report just as soon as I find out where they are located.
