After six months of trying to use equipment that would never work consistently I returned to the vendor who sent it and who Lease Finance Group contracted with. Neither company will respond by voiding the contracts and continue to harrass me on the phone both at home and at my business. They are threatening to ruin my credit.

I have sent letters to both the vendor company and to Lease Finance Group/CIT Leasing explaining the entire comedy of errors during the six months I tried to patiently use their system. Both companies signed receipts showing acceptance of the letters so I know they've received them. The owner of the vending company assured me that he would procure a credit with Lease Finance Group.

That was two weeks ago and yet the company continues to harrass me on the phone two or three times per day. The owner of the vendor company also told me that he would call me when everything was completed. I'm still waiting for the call. The irony is that I already owned a Nurit 2085 when I made the initial call to the vendor company and they told me that I would have to purchase all new equipment for the system to work!! The vendor company is USA Merchant Card Services and the owner's name is Mark Alexander.

File your Report with FTC

AUTHOR: Gloria - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 29, 2004

Hi,
You may want to sent a complaint to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) . I did and received a response saying they don't do individual cases. However, if they log enough complaints, they will start an investigation and possibly legal action. So here is the link: https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01 to the FTC complaint form. I've told many people about it, so you may want to do the same. Make sure you give specific examples or even let them know you have documentation of deceptive or misleading information. Also, if possible, please scan & send copies of these documents to me at [DELETED]. I haven't given up, but it does take a while for the squeaky wheel to be heard.

As far as CIT, here is their main site: http://www.cit.com/main/default.htm . Also, within this site, I found e-mails and have sent copies of my rip-off report, including a copy of all the complaints listed under Lease Finance Group in the Rip-Off site. Here are some e-mail addresses, you may want to send your concerns to: investor.relations@cit.com, corpcomm@cit.com, directors@cit.com,

I did get the Rip-Off Report Do-It-Yourself Guide and it did have some good steps to follow. However, it was a little lacking in the cyberspace rip-offs. I've been paralleling the thoughts or ideas in this Guide to try to apply them to the internet. For example, instead of sending faxes, send e-mails. So every web site I am interested in, I look for e-mails and make up a group listing & start bombarding them with e-mails and include my rip-off report, plus any other rip-off concerns.

I hope this helps. Thanks, G for California

Ditto to Lease Finance Group - CIT harrasses me even after equipment returned ..seems like there is a pattern here

I will be writing my own RipOff to this Fraudulent Company. However, after reading other Rip-Off reports from many different states, it seems like there is a pattern here.

Perhaps the biggest, is that the company is charging about 1000% more than the market value. I checked locally & online and for the machine that we used you can buy it outright for $300 or less. The cost for lease of this same equipment is $3000 plus...

We get daily calls from CIT harassing us. We have wrote letters quoting regulations that prove that the manner that this contract was presented, and changed is illegal & fraudulent...since in the state of California, all that is owed is 10% of the fair market value. Which is really only about $30 ....

This is certainly a company that deserve a BIG Class Action Suit. However, as an individual, if taken to court, I would win since there were so many fraudulant and deceptive tactics used....
