Mr. David Chevallard stopped in and offered some very seemingly attrative rates for their merchant services, until I found out about all the "exceptions" they charged for: however, there was only one problem: our existing credit card terminal was not compatible and the best way to expedite this situation was to lease a credit card terminal for 4 years. I explained that I was in the process of selling my business and Mr. Chevallard assured me that this would be the best way to go since it was cancellable, transferable at any time.

That was the last time I heard from him, and I never received a copy of the contract that un-beknownst-to-me, I signed, until I requested it. I have searched my files and records up-side-down and can not find a copy.

I finally realized how much this simple terminal was costing when I implemented on-line-banking and I inquired with my new merchant services, which is with my bank and they informed me that I could purchase a terminal for ~$200.00. I called Lease Finance Group and explained what I was going to do and they inexplicably advised me to return the equipment, gave me the instructions and address as to where to return the equipment.

I paid for a stop payment on LFG's ACH only to find out that they would change the $ amount and another stop payment was required. I finally changed my acoount.

Then the nighmare began. I don't know how many times accidents could have happened, as I tried to reach for my phone, or how many of our customers were interuppted only to find out that there was an electonic message as we tried to answer the phone. This happens up to 20 times per day, personally and at the business location.

I live in Denver, CO and we have Tom Martino. He suggests that as these "Bad Business'" try to ruin our credit report and our lives, that we sue for "Credit Report Blackmail, Slander of Credit". I have not researched it yet but it is on ther web site: foxcolorado.com. I will get to it. But first I am filing this report and then will move on to the FTC, and the Sate Attorney General and the CIT sites, listed by "G for California. Thank You EeryOne!

Get copies of your credit reporst now, close all bank acounts, open new ones. Pay off all current cards and become a model citizen. LFG won't stop. I mean won't stop. It has been two years for me and we are still fighting. This clown that signed you up, file a police report for fraud and everything else you can throw at him. Contact these agencies: ftc.gov, illinois states attorney, chicago BBB, and your local chamber of commerce to notify other businesses about this baron who lies, cheats and steals.Here is the state of illinois info...USE IT NOW. We are in this together. There are others. And remember this. Yes, there are people out there that will throw you under the buss for a paltry hundred bucks maybe $200...commision...

since you are so conciencions with regards to mpi, tell us how to track down the sales person that screwed us over , he is Jack kelly.

we would like to see him in person to express our anger over his lies and total ripoff.

IMHO, he is just a theif and scared to show his face in public

First of all, I want to apologise to the individual who filed this report for any inconvenience or loss they might of experienced. My name is David and I am was the "account executive" referred to on this report. Let me begin by saying I am no longer with MPI. I left MPI(merchant Processing, Inc) two years ago after hearing similar reports from clients I had signed up with MPI and MPI's inability to follow through with what was promised to my clients and me, for that matter.


As as account executive, I was not made privy to any complaints unless the client contacted me directly. That is to say, the phone number and email address provided on my business card went to our corporate offices, not to me. Which is why I didn't realize the true nature of MPI's scam until I started to give out my personal cell phone number to clients and really started to hear how many of them were displeased with our products and services.

Their VP of sales even went so far as to tell me, when I started to question their business practices, " you are a sales guy, Dave. Your job is to sell. If the client has a problem, they can call customer service....Customer Service is not your job". That was my last day at MPI. They are NOT a customer oriented organization and do not do business in a way I saw appropriate.

Again, my deepest apologies to the individual and anyone else who has been affected by this company's indiscretions. Its a shame my GOOD name was ever associated with it....I consider myself a person of integrity and would like to make it known that when my character was put into question, my integrity was challenged, and was put into a situation where the company I was representing was NOT being 100% transparent, I immediately resigned from the company! This is no, way, shape or form, a reflect of me as an individual and would appreciate the public being made aware of this.
