Ledar Transport AKA SLX ripoff Everything that the company had told me before I got there was a fat lie Kansas City Missouri

Ledar Transport has ripped me off in more ways then one. To start I was promised a minimum of 3000 to 3500 making any where between 500.00 to 750.00 a week after all expenses being a owner operator. Everything that the company had told me before I got there was a fat lie! They treated me like I was an idiot.

They tried to charge me for repairs to my truck after 2 days of me being in it which apperently was from the driver before me. I always got stuck pulling overweight loads and they never wanted to fix my tractor on the road. Because they owned their own crooked repair shop in KC.

To top it all off my second week there, there was only 3 of the original recruits left. There was 3 drivers that already had their truck paid off that were waiting for their titles for over 8 months when I left their were still people waiting for their titles.

Their leasing company that does their leases is owned by a family member it is named Hawthorn Leasing. I was there for 2 months and drove aproximently 27000 miles and never recived a penny till this day. When I decided to quiet I turned the truck in the proper way and had my wife drive all the way to KC from michigan to pick me up at the same time I was supposed to have my first pay check in the mail at my house.

I received a phone call from Norma on the way home telling me not to cash the check and if I did she would press charges against me for fraud. Thank you for your time.
