I decided to discontinue my service with legal shield when they charged me a ridiculous price to represent me for a basic case. I decided to go alone without a lawyer and the case was dismissed and thrown out. And I'm glad I did not waste my money on them even though the knew it would be a simple case they still would have charged me just to show up. They had me jumping thru hoops to cancel my service and failed on several occasions to email me the cancelation forms that would have been the most simple way for me. After not having a way to cancel my service I held on the phone with my banks fraud department for over an hour and did a three way in which I "thought" I had canceled it since I was provided a confirmation number for cancelation. I wasn't paying close attention to my bank statements and realized they never stopped taking money out of my account. So for the last couple of months I have had to dispute the charges they continue to charge me thru my bank.
