After falling into financial hardship I fell behind on credit card payments and it had a negative impact on my credit report. After paying off all my debt I was still stuck with a bad credit score. I did not want this to follow me around for years since I had not intentionally defaulted, and I did pay all debt off. I tried to have items removed from my reports but had no luck. I heard of Lexington Law, I gave them a call and I was promised by the "sales" paralegal that within 3 to 6 months my reports would be cleared up, I was told that letters would be sent to the creditors and the bureau's on legal letterhead which would scare the companies into removing the negative items. After 3 months of no progress and weekly phone calls to Lexington paralegals, and $300.00 later, I decided to cancel my service, oddly enough when I called to cancel the paralegal said "well wait we can now send escalation letters on your behalf" I decided to ask more questions and this is when I found out that I was blatantly lied to and the only response I got was "I'm sorry you feel that way maybe you should cancel your service" They are a DISGRACE as a company and preying on people who are desperate to move forward from a rough financial past!!! I urge anyone in a tough situation with their credit report to AVOID AVOID AVOID"

First, like you, we regret hearing when particular cases don't end positively. However, since every client's situation is unique, we can't promise positive outcomes for everyone. As you may have seen, some have shared very positive testimonials, while others don't. Please know that our creditor-focused process leverages every consumer's right, under applicable consumer protection statutes, to demand accountability from those who report personal information to credit bureaus. While our methods often net positive results, no approach to these matters is universally effective.
