* * Stay away from LEXINGTON LAW ...they are total scam artists and will not fix your credit  !! * *

I hope this will help others who are in need of help with their credit issues stay the hell away from Lexington Law and the scammers that they hire as their employees.  About 9 months ago, I went online and submitted my information with Quicken Loans to see if I can get approved for a mortgage loan.  My credit scores were in the 550-580 range.  After I submitted my info, I received a call from Lexington Law advising me that Quicken Loans asked them to give me a call because of my Poor Credit.

I knew I needed help with my credit so I went ahead and got on-board with their program. The Lexington Law rep told me that they can fix my credit issues in about 3 months or so.  I had no knowledge about how legal credit repair works so I fell for their lies.  The rep explained to me that they have Lawyers who specializes in credit repair and that I will only pay on a monthly basis as I see that work is being performed. I thought this was a great idea because I did not have to pay a lot of money upfront and I would only have to pay $100 month as work is being performed on my behalf.  Man was I such an idiot for falling for their bullshit.

To make my story short, I was with them for 5 months and I saw no real results at all.  Within that 5 month time frame, they only removed a couple of late pays and a one old medical bill from 3 years ago that I still owed $75 on.  Are you kidding me? 2 late pays and 1 small $75 medical bill in 5 months? Every time that I called them, I got a different person on the phone and each rep had no idea where the other rep had left off on my files.

I told them I wanted to cancel and the rep acted like it was not a big deal at all and just brushed me off.  I asked for a refund and was transfer to different "managers" multiple times and they just gave me the run-a-around and some bullsh* about how they will give me 1 month free if I continued to stay on with them and they would accelerate my files to get more results. What a bunch of crap huh? I told them to go to hell and to cancel my membership.  To make things worst, they actually took out another $100 the very next month. I had to call my Bank and have them block Lexington Law from taking out more money in the future.  In total, I spent about $700 with them and my credit scores only increased about 10 points. Can you believe that??? 10 points in 5 months, what a joke.

My friend then referred me to a local Credit Repair Company in Plano, TX.  I have been with them for 3 months now and I have seen awesome results.  When I started with the program with the company in Plano, my credit scores were 557, 569, & 592.  In only 3 months, my scores jumped up to 600, 623, & 648.  Unlike Lexington Law, this company that I am currently with is very honest and I am able to deal with the same person throughout the whole course of my program.  I am very pleased and I am actually on track to complete my credit repair in about 2 more months.

My advice to anyone who is considering credit repair:

- Make sure you do NOT fall for those companies who promises quick results

- Stay clear of those companies who offes a really cheap price or a cheap monthly membership fee

- Something as important as your credit, you might as well pay a good legal credit repair company to fix it right the first time instead of working with someone like Lexington Law for $100 a month and get dragged around for months and months without any real positive results.  I have learned my lesson the hard way and I hope my story will prevent others from getting scammed by this bullsh* company

First, like you, we regret hearing when particular cases don't end positively. However, since every client's situation is unique, we can't promise positive outcomes for everyone. As you may have seen, some have shared very positive testimonials, while others don't. Please know that our creditor-focused process leverages every consumer's right, under applicable consumer protection statutes, to demand accountability from those who report personal information to credit bureaus. While our methods often net positive results, no approach to these matters is universally effective.
