Liberty Bell Moving Group LB Moving Group DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Ormond Beach Florida

I am ENRAGED!!! We hired this company back in May to move our belongings from Colorado to Florida. I initially was going to rent a U-HAUL like always, but Garrin from Liberty Bell Moving Group lit up my phone (calling over and over) until I finally took his call. He asked me what I had and I told him that I had mostly boxes for a family of 5; he quoted me $2000 and then told me that it would be delivered in 7-10 days from pick up. I hired them and paid my deposit and scheduled my pick up for June 9th. A few days before pick up I received a call to verify what I had and the lady told me that Garrin had quoted me for 50 medium boxes which must’ve been a number he pulled from a hat! I never told him this. Anyways, I was still unsure of exactly what I had as we were still packing, so I tried to overestimate. She then collected more money for a deposit and said it would be about $2500 instead of the initial $2000 quote. So, June 9th came and the moving company showed up. The guy handling all of the paperwork spoke poor English and was very rude. I asked him when we could expect our stuff in Florida and he said 2-3 weeks, even though I had been quoted 7-10 days from Garrin.

Anyways, I have called Liberty Bell Moving Group several times and each time given the run around. I received a call exactly 2 weeks ago and was told it would definitely be there in 6-8 days... NOTHING!!! Then I called and spoke with Sharon, who apparently is "in charge just below the owners (who don’t speak with customers)” and I questioned her about my original contract and was informed that when my stuff was picked up by the movers that my contract with Liberty Bell was null and void... funny, I didn’t hire the other company. I AM FURIOUS AND WILL GO TO ALL EXTENTS TO RUIN THEIR NAME!
