Liberty Bell Moving Group Beware of Liberty Bell Moving Group S. Daytona Florida

I hired Liberty Bell Moving Group to handle my move from Portland Maine to Hudson Florida. My move began on 8/5/17 and is still not resolved. Liberty Bell is only a broker although they have a DOT# 2950850 and an MC# 999098. They brokered out my move to a company named Moon Vanline dba I move You. 

Liberty Bell said my pickup would be on 8/4/17 and it didn't happen. They came on 8/5/17 which little did I know at the time was the best part of ther service.  I called them a few weeks after they picked up to ask when my load would be delivered. They assured me it would be 8/16 or 8/17 but they never showed and never callled. So I called them again and they again assured me it would be 8/19 or 8/20 Once again in true Liberty Bell tradition they didn't show or didn't call. They also assured me that driver would call at ;east 24 hours before delivery. That didn't happen either. Load finally got here on 8/25.

When truck got here the driver kept trying to unload other peoples stuff at my door. If I hadn't caught him I would have someone else's stuff. As he unloaded my stuff one of my boxes was soaking wet and contents severely damaged. The driver tried to hint that I had put liquid in box. There was no liquid in box just military papers and dress boots. Then came the shining  moment when I realized that 3 items were completely misssing.

Since 8/28/17 I have been in contact with Liberty Bell Moving Group trying to resolve this. My first contact was with Chloe and she did try to resolve my issue but frequently wouldn't return my calls. Then it got worse as my contact now is their new "escalation mgr" named Kevin. He doesn't return my calls and malkes sure his voice mail is full so you can't leave a message.

In closing it's my belief that Liberty Bell employee's are instructed to tell you whatever you want to hear in hopes that you'll just go away. As they have no intention of making good on their business transactions.
