Liberty Health aka First Health, aka Peace of Mind Health Solutions Extremely misleading "insurance" sales Fort Lauderdale Florida

I was looking for less expensive insurance for myself and my family and entered my information on a health care related web site.  In less than a minute I received a phone call from the "Health Registration Department" which said that I was eligible for a group plan through a major health care insurance company that my local doctors would accept.  They said that since the plan was not on the marketplace that they could not provide me with any documentation regarding benefits, etc until after I PAID for the first month's premium.  I almost hung up on the two or three times but gave them my credit card number once I was assured that I could cancel at any time.

Once I received their confirmation email and did my due dilligence I attempted to cancel the "health insurance" and also the other additional junk subscriptions for "lab testing & wellness" a prescription discount program and a vision & dental discount program which were all said to be insurance but were, at best, some kind of discount program that could be purchased directly from the provider for much less. 

All of their communication indicates that if I have any questions or want to cancel my coverage that I have to speak to them directly. I was provided with some kind of confirmation number and was told that if I received any phone calls regarding my policy or any of my benifits from anyone who couldn't provide that confirmation number that I was to request that I put my phone number on the do not call list and to hang up -- all of which leads me to believe that they really don't provide anything at all that is legitimate. 

If you try to cancel you have to call the customer service line but there's never anyone there to help you -- best just to dispute it with your credit card company and also request a new card since unauthorized charges from another orginization called "Peace of Mind Health Solutions" also showed up on my account (I'm assuming they're somehow associated with each other).  I also received a phone call the "verification department" and an email from "Peace of Mind Health Solutions" requesting my personal information, which I refused to give out.  In my opinion, they basically try to confuse you as much as possible with phony services and should be investigated by the Florida State Attorney General's Office (if they really are, in fact, located in Florida).
